Pay attention to that large brown mark on her face. (She has had it for as long as I’ve known her…..years.)

And then it was a while until we took a new picture…..when we went for a visit to Pennsylvania recently we were shocked to see her face again. Here are the pictures from October 2010:
Notice that dark brown age mark?? Well you shouldn’t- because it’s GONE! Jeff took these recent pictures and I assure you that they have not been doctored in anyway. Kathy is not wearing any makeup in these pictures.

Wow! (And I assure you, the difference is even more noticeable in person.) Not only is that huge brown spot completely gone, many lines surrounding her jaw line, eyes, forehead and mouth have faded and smoothed. Look at the age spots running along her cheek in that first photo. There is literally a line of dark spots that runs along her jawline, up her cheek. Now they are completely blended away. I realize that these pictures aren’t perfect and there is a lighting issue in the earlier photos, but nevertheless I think that the effects speak for themselves.
Kathy looks younger and more vibrant every time that we see her and people in her community are noticing and asking her what she’s doing. We’ve had so many opportunities to spread the news about Nu Skin just by using Kathy’s face.

I'm sorry but she looks older, especially under the eyes. I've used the nu skin myself and after several treatments, when the swelling goes down my skin looked worse. Swelling is the reason people look plump after a treatment. Swelling hides all kind of imperfections, especially diffuse swelling but it's not an indication of real long term improvement. It's an indication of inflammation. I will not be touching this device to my facial skin again.

Sure I'll publish your comment. Here are a few things that you may have noticed about this blog.
1. We haven't done a thing with it in well over a year. Didn't think anyone was still reading.
2. It is a far cry from professional.
3. Our pictures- particularly of Kathy's face are awful.
Seriously, I can see how you would think that she looks older as the original pictures are taken in dark lighting and the after pictures are in bright lights that show every line on her face, etc. Our purpose in posting the pictures was to show the smoothing of skin color that she experienced. That large brown age spot completely disappeared. Seriously- not there anymore and it never came back.
Kathy didn't experience swelling from the galvanic treatment. I honestly don't know anyone else who has experienced swelling from galvanic treatments. Electrolysis, yes, that causes swelling. If you had such negative experiences I recommend that you call the nu skin helpline. 1800-487-1000. You can talk to them about the product and they can tell you if such a side effect is normal. I'm not an expert on galvanic current.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Sorry that you've stumbled across an inactive blog that is looking pretty lame. We're still using Nu Skin products and loving them btw. The Spa is only one product....quite honestly there are many more products that I am way more excited about, like the vitamins, shampoos and the makeup.
