I’m finally updating some Kathy pictures. Remember Kathy when she first started using the spa last September?

Pay attention to that large brown mark on her face. (She has had it for as long as I’ve known her…..years.)

And then it was a while until we took a new picture…..when we went for a visit to Pennsylvania recently we were shocked to see her face again. Here are the pictures from October 2010:

Notice that dark brown age mark?? Well you shouldn’t- because it’s GONE! Jeff took these recent pictures and I assure you that they have not been doctored in anyway. Kathy is not wearing any makeup in these pictures.

Need to see that before and after again? In just a year’s time using the Galvanic Spa and AgeLOC here is Kathy:

Wow! (And I assure you, the difference is even more noticeable in person.) Not only is that huge brown spot completely gone, many lines surrounding her jaw line, eyes, forehead and mouth have faded and smoothed. Look at the age spots running along her cheek in that first photo. There is literally a line of dark spots that runs along her jawline, up her cheek. Now they are completely blended away. I realize that these pictures aren’t perfect and there is a lighting issue in the earlier photos, but nevertheless I think that the effects speak for themselves.

Kathy looks younger and more vibrant every time that we see her and people in her community are noticing and asking her what she’s doing. We’ve had so many opportunities to spread the news about Nu Skin just by using Kathy’s face.

The mice shown in this video were part of a controlled feeding study. Both mice in the video were the equivalent of 96 years old in human years. Both mice were fed a normal diet; however one of the mice was also fed an additional ingredient that is included in the ageLOC Vitality Supplement. During the study, both mice were treated humanely. Neither mouse was harmed during the study and both were allowed to live a full life.

Jeff's grandfather (Pop) has been on the Nano and recently started the newest product Vitality. Pop is 93 years old and has really noticed a difference. Yesterday Jeff went to visit him and asked him if he had noticed any changes in his body since he began this supplement. He responded that the thing he had noticed the most was that he could now walk up the stairs like a "normal person". Sunright Lip Balm 15

This is officially my new favorite chap stick. I don't use anything else on my lips! With ingrediants such as SeaLastin, rich emollients and SPF 15 it keeps your lips moisturized, soft and smooth as well as offering protection from the sun's rays. In addition, the SeaLastin (an ingredient made from seaweed) supplements collagen and elastin in your lips, leaving them supple and healthy.

It has a slight vanilla flavor that isn't really noticeable or overwhelming like some glosses. The website descibes it as a "pleasant vanilla flavor" but I find it to be virtually orderless and I like that. It's not greasy and it's colorless, leaving no dry residue behind.

Who can use this?
Anyone! This product is great for men, women and children. My husband and I both use this and we also use it on our toddler when he's playing out in the sun or when his lips are getting chapped. Like all Nu Skin products, this lip balm is Safety-Allergy-Dermatologist tested and perfectly safe for children (excluding only infants under the age of six months).

Women may enjoy using this product as a base under their lip stick (to prevent that dry cakey look) or if applied generously it gives off an attractive smooth glossy look. I use it on a regular bases and often use it instead of lip gloss.

Personal Use
This is a great lotion. It is mild for sensitive skin types and is an intense moisturizer. I use this all over my body but particularly on my hands. Due to eczema, my hands can become very red, dry and scaly. When broken out it looks like I am wearing gloves when you compare the skin difference between my hand and arm. This lotion has been very healing and has relieved the cracking and bleeding due to dry winters. I can't live without this product any more- I definitely recommend it.
I would like to get some before and after pictures up eventually of my hands so stay tuned.

Personal Experience
I have dry/sensitive skin and am constantly needing to slap on some creams and lotions on my face in particular. I have trouble with a lot of face wash and must moisturize day and night. I have never in my life found a face cream that has made my skin feel so amazing! I smooth this cream on once a day and my skin instantly feels wonderful. It's smooth, soft, supple and it looks and feels great. It even has a sweet, wonderful scent. I will never go back to any other product for my face and you can quote me on that! My face feels like my one-year-old's and I am so impressed with it that I am constantly telling people to feel my face. (I'm a bit obsessed!) No more dryness, no more flaking when I put on make-up and no itchiness or roughness.

I typically have to use moisturizing creams in large amounts but with this product, the cream is thick and a small amount is all that you need. If you are looking for a new moisturizer or not in love with your own- look no further! Try this!

Following Up With the Shampoo

I wrote about my first impressions of the Nu Skin shampoo and conditioner a few months ago:

I have a few new things that I wanted to report about this product. In my experience, as well as a few others that I have spoken to that are using the product, I am seeing new hair growth. Since I began using this product in November my pony tails are thicker and my hair is much healthier looking and feeling. You can literally see thick patches of new hair growing where I used to have wisps in the front of my hair line.

I didn't even see growth like this when I was pregnant so this is kind of crazy! It has been nearly a year since my last hair cut or trim and my ends aren't splitting (they typically are at this point) and my hair is growing quickly.

This product is a miracle for my hair as I have a one-year-old that is obsessed with running his grubby little hands through my head and yanking my hair out. I probably should be bald at this point! If you are trying to keep your hair healthy and strong while growing it out I highly recommend this line of hair products. I will never change shampoos again!

Galvanic Spa Before and After Pics: Kathy

We are finally presenting the most updated pictures of Kathy’s face. Let’s look first at the the left side.

Note: click on the pictures to enlarge.

This is an original photo taken before any treatment on 9/02/09. Pay special attention to the under-eye area and the large dark birthmark on the cheek.

Below is the latest picture taken on 2/17/2010. Notice the significant lighting on the birthmark (yes, this thing is lightening a dark birthmark!) and the blending away of age spots. Her skin appears a great deal younger and more moisturized. The coloring is more even and the skin is tighter and less wrinkled.

Next we’ll look at the right side of the face. The picture below was taken on 9/30/09.

And the after picture on 2/17/2010. You can really see in this comparison the blending away of age-spots and a more even and healthier coloration and glow in the after picture. Also compare the bags under the eyes and the lines around the nose and mouth. There is also less visible skin sagging around the ear and jaw line.

For Kathy the spa is doing more then just making her look better- she is feeling better. Her skin feels younger and softer and she is quite proud of her skin! She is looking confident and radiant and is a sold believer in NU Skin products. The combination of LifePac Nano, AgeLoc and the Galvanic Spa are making her younger and healthier from the inside out.

Dividends Shaving Cream

My father in law, Ron, has recently started using this shaving cream and his remarks really surprised me. He is generally a little bit skeptical about “wonder products” and is typically happy with something that he could buy in bulk at Sam’s club or something. Jeff sent him some of this shaving cream because we have been hearing great things about it and he was really impressed. He said that it gave him the closest shave that he has ever had and using it allowed him to shave less frequently. This peaked my interest enough to take a closer look at the product.

A Note From the Writer

Greetings to all my readers,

When I began this blog a few months ago I simply wanted a place to send friends that wished to follow how we were doing with Nu Skin. I wanted to utilize the internet in order to share our personal journey with Nu Skin so that anyone seeking out more information about this amazing company could find a personal experience. I wanted to give people the opportunity to find a distributor and order product. I didn’t take the blog too seriously. I would post occasionally and (as you can see from my blog history) I have not been too consistent with my writing.

I now have many reasons to change my lame-blog ways. Since we have recently broken 1,000 viewers of the blog I have realized that I need to be providing a site that is a bit more professional. We have new distributors and new customers that are coming here and I would like to make this more of a resource.

I wish for this blog to start some communication regarding this business opportunity and these amazing products. I am making a new commitment to writing on a weekly and sometimes daily basis as I have a lot to share and have been slacking.

My Experience:

My 8-month-old has eczema and treating that sensitive skin has been difficult. Johnson and Johnson products make his skin break out and I have to use specific sensitive lotions and detergents for his clothes. This baby wash has been so great for him! It keeps his skin moisturized and smelling sweet. When I use this, I follow up with lotion and his eczema is kept in control and I am only treating small spots occasionally. It makes me so happy to see smooth and healthy skin on my little guy.

I would highly recommend this product to all moms, especially to those that have children with sensitive skin.

What I thought:

This conditioner is rich and creamy. My husband has dry scalp and this creamy conditioner solves his problems. It makes my hair feel silky and smooth and I love it!

I really noticed a difference when I started to use this product but it was when I stopped using it that I was sure I couldn’t do without it. When we ran out of the Nu Skin stuff I went back to Herbal Essence just until I got around to buying more and I really felt the difference. I am a user of this stuff for life! If you are looking to take better care of your hair you should try this. Yes, it costs more then some cheap stuff then you can get at Wal-Mart but it is better then that. If you are spending more anyway to use salon products why not try this and see if you don’t like it better?

Galvanic Spa Before And After Pics: More of Kathy

We are back with more pictures of Kathy. For those of you interested in the body sculpting aspect of the galvanic spa (and who isn't?) we have newer pictures of Kathy's arms.

Can you say WOW?? That is less than a month of treatments and look how much that arm has tightened! Kathy has not been lifting weights or working that arm in any way- she has just been using the spa and it has tightened her skin that much. Amazing!

There aren't as many differences in that short period of time but you can definitely see the bag under the eye has lifted some more.

Nu Skin in the News: Stockmarket News

I don't know too much about the stock market but I do know, with my limited knowledge, that this is a stock to watch and invest in- particularly now that we are counting down to the unveiling of Age Loc. In personal experience my brother called me this morning to tell me that he was buying Nu Skin stock and then called back five minutes later to tell me that he had already made $100,00.00! Galvanonic Spa Before and After: less than a month

These pictures are amazing- jump back and forth and look at her progress in less than a month's time! I am sold on this product...

These are Kathy's before and after pictures for almost a month of usage. (You can see from the dates that she started on the 2nd and these were taken on the 30th) I believe that she had used the spa about 6 times and I really see a difference here!
Let's start off looking at this before picture:
Now let's compare to that same side of the face after a few treatments: Notice that area of age spots on the first picture? It is virtually a line that goes across her face that is a different color of skin. Look at the after picture! Look how that discoloration is just blending away- her skin looks so much better! The bag under the eye looks better as well and the lines around the eye are just fading away. Amazing!
Here's another shot: Also notice how those deep lines along the jaw line have just blended away. The skin looks so much smoother.
